Central government is taking various steps to combat
coronavirus menace including a 21 days lockdown, telemedicine etc.,
Our railways ministry also have initiated a novel
idea. Indian Railways has converted train coaches into isolation wards for
COVID-19 patients in prepare of an emergency situation.
In view of increasing number of patients, this might be a
great option for to create more isolation wards and beds, other than government
hospitals. Railway minister Shri. Piyush Goyal announced this on his twitter
handle yesterday.
